About this site

Contents

The site consists of articles sorted by subjects that reflect concrete problems or separate symbols most blatantly exploited by politicians and the media.

Propagandistic nature, insincerity or simple fallaciousness of the symbols is shown by presenting or just reminding of ‘unpopular’ facts that usually are left unnoticed in most official myths created by official ideology-makers and profit-seeking media.

Though the site is oriented towards global problems, special attention is paid to Lithuanian issues as well. The usually unadvertised history and the true methods of Christianity, particularly the Catholic Church, are once more considered.

Structure

Home pagesubjectsarticles

The list of links to all the subjects can be found on the left side of each page.

On the right side, usually there is a list of all the articles on the subject (if there are any). One article can be related to several subjects.

Comments

Visitors are welcome to comment on both the subjects and articles and to express their opinions on the whole site (from the home page). The pages of comments can be used as forums.

The author does not accept the responsibility for the visitors’ comments and opinions. Adverts and comments that are prohibited by law are subject to removal.

Languages

Most of the articles are presented in three languages: Lithuanian, English and Russian; however, some of them can have fewer or more language versions. The little flags show the available language versions of each page.

Status

This is a personal, principally non-commercial site, created and maintained by one person; therefore, it is not updated very often. A new article can appear every two-three weeks; which is not always the case, however.

Vocabulary

There are many words and expressions bearing negative emotional connotations. Most of them are often used in the every day official propaganda in order to humiliate the adversaries of the Government.

In the opinion of the author, the same pejorative words can be used with the same success to refer to the people that make, spread and order propaganda.

The reasons for creating this site

Two events inspired the author to create this site: the privatisation of the Lithuanian oil refinery by a US company and Lithuania joining the EU, both under conditions extremely unfavourable to Lithuania. By cynically taking advantage of hopelessly corrupt Lithuanian politicians and bureaucrats, the world’s most ruthless aggressor and the organisation of Europe’s richest countries then practically robbed and humiliated Lithuania while shamelessly preaching about western culture, democracy and justice.
